CMTO Releases Scores, Continues to Investigate Cheating in RMT Certification Exams

On September 9, 2022, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) released results for the Objectively Structured Clinical Evaluation (OSCE, or practical examination) to select candidates who experienced a delay in receiving their results while CMTO investigated cheating on the certification exams. Read CMTO’s statement on the investigation (https://www.cmto.com/cmto-investigating-cheating-in-rmt-certification-exams)

The investigation is ongoing, and exams continue to be administered. Candidates and RMTs who have information to share about this situation are urged to contact CMTO at professionalconduct@cmto.com. Failing to cooperate with CMTO’s investigation will impact a candidate’s future application for registration.
