Ontario Government Announces Extension of Mask Mandate
On April 22, 2022, the Ontario Government announced an extension of mask mandates in select settings until June 11, 2022. This includes health care settings, public transit, long-term care homes, retirement homes, and shelters and other congregate care settings. CMTO considers all RMT practice settings to be health care settings for the purposes of the masking mandate. RMTs will continue to wear surgical/procedural masks and clients will be expected to wear a mask until June 11, 2022.
