CMTO’s 2023 Registration Renewal Is Open
CMTO’s 2023 registration renewal is now open. All RMTs should renew their registration by November 1, 2022, online through the Registrant Portal.
Following consultation (https://www.cmto.com/about-cmto/provide-your-feedback/changes-to-registration-and-application-fees/), CMTO’s Council approved the following fees for 2023:
General Certificate (GC) – $897.00
Inactive Certificate (IN) – $448.50
The completed renewal form and payment must be received by 11:59 p.m. on November 1, 2022. Renewals received after that date are subject to a late fee of $100.00.
Professional Liability Insurance
RMTs with a General Certificate must maintain professional liability insurance at all times. Beginning this renewal period and moving forward, the way RMTs provide CMTO with information about their professional liability insurance is changing. On the renewal form, you will be asked to affirm a series of statements about your insurance. This new process will replace the need to log in to your profile and enter detailed policy information.
Starting in 2023, CMTO will also conduct an annual audit of 3% of General Certificate holders who will be required to submit a copy of their Certificate of Insurance.
