Mark Bentz

Mark Bentz is a massage therapist, clinic owner and coach with a passion for helping others to create the career and lifestyle that they've always wanted in this industry.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Mark was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease at the age of 9. By the age of 19, Mark had lost virtually all of his eyesight. Mark credits his disability to his personal and professional success, giving him the fuel he needed to push himself and achieve his goals: in 1984, he won two gold medals in downhill at the 1984 Winter Paralympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria.
Afterwards, Mark went on to study massage therapy After practicing on his own for a few years, he founded Everest Therapeutics and later, Electra Health - one of Canada's largest multidisciplinary clinics. He now runs his company fulltime and helps therapists across multiple modalities create successful practices.
Mark's greatest passion is to teach others what he has learned through his navigation of this industry with a disability. As a coach, Mark's goal is to support others as they grow their own practices and companies, and teach everyone that they really can live an exceptional life!

Gael Wood has over 25 years of experience in the massage and spa industry. She now concentrates on coaching and teaching in the areas of marketing, business start-up, and online business creation.
Gael was honored to be inducted into the World Massage Hall of Fame and featured as a Massage Magazine All-Star in 2019.
